These are my little foster kittens, Axl and Ariel. They're about 4.5 weeks old now and are soooo sweet! Axl is the little black boy, (with white accent hairs). He's into exploring, playing, talking and running (they just learned how to run, it's the funniest wobbliest thing). Ariel is the little black and white girl, and she's into being held, eating, crying, and following her brother around. They're both gaining weight steadily and eating constantly (as you can see by their dirty noses!) I think they're going to have long hair, but it's hard to tell.
Axl and Ariel should be available for adoption in mid-December, and it would be great if they could be adopted together.
Just before they started all going their separate ways, I summoned all my best kitten wrangling skills for one last group portrait session. Luckily they were sleepy!
Well, I would have thought that Taz would be the first to be adopted, but what do you know, he was the last! Not by much though - these little guys pretty much sold themselves. I couldn't have asked for a cuter, easier bunch of kittens to find homes for.
Taz will live with a beautiful 1 year old (I think) older sister named Callie, who isn't too sure about little Tazzles just yet, but we're all confident she'll fall in love with him like everybody does.
Maya will live with the most adorable little (and I mean LITTLE) roly poly black kitten named Maximus.
Their new parents seem to be thoroughly smitten and I have received reports that Maya and Taz are settling in just fine.
As the only two left from their litter, Maya and Taz are lonely! Taz wanders around the house crying for his brothers. It's so sad. These two are still looking for that special person or family to call their own.
I also dropped Bodie off yesterday morning. He'll be living with a completely awesome couple, and an absolutely gorgeous little 'sister' his own age. They were already playing together when I left! Lucky Bodie.
I dropped Boone off with a veeerrry nice family out in Agoura Hills last night. He's a very lucky little dude! And a very happy resiliant one - within 5 minutes of being out of his carrier he was playing with the boatload of new toys they bought him!
Very excited to announce that I delivered Ricky to his new home Thursday night. He'll have a sweet playful big brother to play with, and a couple of really loving parents to bring him up. They even went out and got the brand of food he's been eating! (Evo canned). I'm sure Ricky will be well loved and wish his adopters a long and healthy time with him!
I can't remember if you've seen these yet or not, and too lazy to go check. :o
