Introductions: Taz

Taz:

Meet Taz, the curly haired kitty! Taz's short, kinky, rex-type coat resembles that of a Devon Rex or Cornish Rex. Those breeds originated with normal cats who randomly produced a curly haired kitty due to a rare gene mutation. Alot of breeding and recordkeeping went into developing the random curly haired kitties into actual "breeds".

Taz is one of those very rare naturally occurring Rex kitties. He's not from a breeding program or anything -- something just went "plink" when little Taz's dna was forming, and he came out with curly hair (and a big dish face). His parents had normal coats (we think) and his littermates have normal coats too. Uncertain what his offspring would be like, were he to have any.

Do you want offspring, Tazzles?

Tazzles has a cool little personality to go with his 'fro too! He and Maya and Bodie love to roll around and play, but he's not the spazzy type player leaping around tearing apart your house - he's more inclined to lay in wait and snag a tail as it goes by and start a wrestling match from there.

And even though he's a chilled out little dude, he can hold his own with his (much) larger and more aggressive big brother Bodie.

Taz's favorite toys get a LOT of use - whatever home he goes to better commit to a big toy budget!

As far as people are concerned, Taz is a knee sitter. The purrs start rumbling when you pick him up, and he loves perching on your knee or shoulder and just hanging with you. He lets you clip his nails or whatever too - a very easy kitty.

Oh, and one last thing: Tazzles is an INCREDIBLE model!
